Renewal (Kazekage)

[Maro]

Maro is in Sunagakure on official bussiness. He wanted to renew the peace treaty that was signed years ago. For that to happen, both Kages of the village must sign the treaty, which is why he came here. He sent word of his coming three days earlier, that way he won't be surprising anyone, or possibly interupt something. He is wearing the Kage robe of his village, and the Kage hat as well. Him being paranoid, everytime he passes an intersection, he always seemed to check behind him, and both directions as if he is making sure he isn't being followed. He is being followed by his Anbu for protection.

When Maro got to the Kazekage's residence, he knew he could relax a little, but remained on edge, incase someone wanted him dead on the other side of the door. He looked up at the sky to make sure he was on time, which he was a few minutes early. He opened the door, and stepped inside, having one of the Anbu follow him in. When he got to the office, he reached up and knocked on the door, "Raikage here to renew our peace treaty, requesting permission to enter," he said in respect. It would have been rude of him to just barge in without saying who he is and why he is there, or atleast to him it would be rude.

While the Raikage was being Paranoid, the Kazekage was being nervous.
Light brown hair was covered in the huge Kage hat that sat on her head. Brown eyes constantly flickered to the door, and delicate fingers continued to twitch. Her insides were squirming, the butterflies in her stomach fluttering like crazy. She felt better than the last time she had met with a Kage, because she was in her own village. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes.

The knock came so suddenly, that she almost choked on her exhale.
After recovering and listening to who was there, she recovered. She cleared her throat, and gave him permission to come in.

"Hubba hubba!"

Yes, even Kou would admit it.
He was rather handsome. Still, she found no particular draw to him. She smiled at him, her nervousness leaking through the smile. She crossed her delicate legs, and sat up a little straighter.

"Welcome Raikage-sama. Please, have a seat. My name is Kabou, Kou."

When he was given permission to enter, Maro opened the door, and was greeted by the Kazekage. When she said her name, he knew it was common courtesy to return with yours, but he thought it was pointless to know the name of someone else, but he had too. "Greetings Lady Kazekage. I'm Maro Konpaku," he said giving a slight bow in respect. When he was offered a seat, he closed the door behind him, telling the Anbu that came with him to stay there. He then went up to the chair, and sat down.

"Lets get down to bussiness," Maro said, reaching into his robes, and pulling out some pices of papr. The pieces of paper, had everything about the peace treaty on them, with a few key details underlined. "I would like you to go through those, and let me know if anything is missing. I also took the liberty of underlining a few of the key details," handing the Kazekage the papers. He thought for sure he left a few things out, which is why he also pulled out extra paper, for such an occasion. If he did forget things he would be able to write it down, instead of having to arrange another meeting to get the stuff taken care of.

She smiled when he told her his name.
She was rather occupied with keeping Kobi suppressed. She was being very insistent that she be allowed to talk to Maro. Kou knew that would be the most horrible thing that could happen, and would completely destroy the peace treaty she was about to sign. Kou picked up the Peace treaty, and looked it over. Bui made a few comments, about how it seemed unfair that they had to agree to it, because there was obviously a reason for this peace treaty. Though it wasn't any of Kou business,(oh wait, yes it was) she thought back and could remember no instance where Kumogakure gave them any reason for a peace treaty. Oh well, it would be best to have this to prevent future problems, and wars.

"Everything seems in order, where do I sign?"

Maro smiled when the Kazekage said everything was in order. He quickly put the paper he pulled out away. He lefted the paper that was in her hands to the next page where it had two places that needed to be signed. One for each Kage. He signed it himself, and handed the pen over for the Kazekage to sign it. "In the past I know we haven't had any reason for a peace treaty, but it's the Shinobi war that I do not want to happen again. This peace treaty should insure use that there won't be a second war," he said to try and give more reason to the peace treaty then what was on there in the first place.

As Maro was about to stand up, he stoped himself quickly remebering the reason for the Anbu. "I know this next information has nothing to do with he peace treaty, but I need to inform you of recent threats on my life. A missing-nin from my village has tried to slay me when I was in Iwa, but the attempt failed. I fear that he may have followed me here, and would like permission to have my Anbu search the village for signs of this Rouge," he said. The part about IWa was a lie, but the way he said the words, and the way it sounds, and the way he looks, makes it all that believeable. He was determined to catch his former clan leader. "I would also like it if you could pssibly try and help me catch this rouge, and have your anbu bring him to me if they do find him. I would like to take his life myself as his punishment for taking the lives of my parents that he took from me when I was young, The man goes by the name Kagoñe Konpaku." he said again lieing, this time about when his parents died. HE was disperete to catch this man for the death of his parents, and the death of all the Anbu he sent after him. Once Kagoñe's life was taken, he can then worry about killing the other jinchuurikis in the world, and the youkis as well.

She too signed the treaty.
She nodded her head understandingly when he explained the reason for the treaty. Her brown eyes shone with kindness as she smiled at him. It was what she had figured, but it was nice to hear that they were both on the same page. She sat up a little straighter when he said that a missing-nin might have followed him here. Her immediate concern was not for him, but for her villagers, and ninja.

"What a selfish request."

The emotionless voice of her split personality, Bui, sounded in her head.

"Bui!"

"It is. He's so weak, he has to ask for others help."

Ignoring Bui, for Kou herself didn't find it selfish at all, her look turned as serious as one could get when they have an adorable face, and a huge Kage hat that made her head look rather silly.

"Of course, Raikage-sama. However, if he harms any villager of mine, I reserve the right to kick his sorry ass around and make him beg like a puppy. He will, however, be returned to your village alive, so you may take his life."

Maro bowed in his seat at the kazekage's response. He was thankful that he could have the anbu search for his former clan leader. "Thank you Lady Kazekage. I'll have my men search for him as quickly as possible. In the mean time, I too will search for him. I will allow you to kick him around, if I get to take his life, I don't care what you do to him. I will let you know when we are done conducting the search, and we will try and remain as discretly as possible, so we don't frighten the villagers," he said before standing up. He gave another bow, before turning around and leaving. He told the Anbu that was outside the door, to perform a search of the village.

Maro left as well, to also help in the search, leaving his kage robes and hat by the office door. He went to the highest point in the village, and activated the Soul Sighting Eye, his clan's kekkei genkai. He looked in all directions. One person caught his eyes for there were two souls occupying the same place, just like how a jinchuuriki is under the site of the kekkei genkai. But the person wasn't the main person he was focusing on, but now knows where there is another jinchuuriki.

Moments later the search ended. He couldn't find the person he was looking for, which ment he could rest easier for now. He went back to the Kazekage's office and picked up his robe, and hat. He knocked on the door again, but this time just to inform the kazekage that the search is completed, "Lady Kazekage, we have completed the search. He is no where in this village at this time. Still be on the look out for him, for he could show up at any time. I now take my leave. Good-day to you madam, and wish the best of luck for your village. He then turned around and left without saying another word.

Kou turned in her chair once the Raikage left.
Her swivel chair turned with her, and she looked out on her village. Something about the Raikage made her nervous. He seemed to be hiding something. She frowned, knowing that many disliked the Jinchuuriki. Would his hate take him as far as to kill one of her villagers? She desperately hoped not. If he did, screw the peace treaty, she was going to kill him. She clenched her fists, forcing herself to calm down. It would do no good to get angry.

She twisted back around when she heard him enter.
She smiled at him, and waved him good bye. However, she spoke just before he opened the door.

"Oh, and Raikage-sama, I'm not saying you would but...should you, or someone from your village harm a villager of mine, I will come after you. Have a nice day."
