APPEARANCE: Hibiki is 5’9” and weighs around 140 lbs. Due to his “Spirit Eye” his eyes glow blue in the dark as well as his tattoo. He isn’t really muscular and seems somewhat fragile. Even when he walks it always seems like he is going to fall down or faint. His mouth rarely shows a smile and is usually expressionless; if he did smile it really meant something to him.
CLOTHING:
Normally Hibiki is usually seen wearing the regular Akatsuki uniform. The uniform had been modified somewhat in the fact that the sleeves are a lot longer making them barely hover over the ground. Also the strands on the Akatsuki hat are longer than normal; as in it hangs always down to his waist. Under his cloak his clothing can be seen in the picture above.
When not in uniform he tends to dress randomly to fit his environment to blend in with the surrounding populace.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: He has a glowing blue tattoo that was given to him by the Shinigami.

PERSONALITY: Hibiki is somewhat of a quiet and shy person. He usually says he’s a pacifist, even though ironically he’s a member of the Akatsuki. He is usually a patient person and usually doesn’t like taking the spot light. He also likes walking amongst the normal populace to observe how life is going for the average person. He also likes peace and quiet; especially at night. He also hates the sun. It annoys him a lot; hence why he doesn’t enjoy traveling in the desert.
When he isn’t on duty, Hibiki likes to go on small strolls through the forest. He doesn’t really care what people talk about him since he figured that words are words. This is why he doesn’t care if someone insults him.
In battle Hibiki tends to like keeping his distance and rely on his minions to do most of the fighting. He is usually calm in most of his battles. He favors battles from a distance over close combat. But, can handle fairly well in close combat.

HISTORY: Hibiki was born in the Land of Fire Many years ago. His clan, known as theSpirit Clan, was notorious for their abilities to commune with the dead; which is why they were hunted down during this time. Many would try to get their hands on one from the clan for many reasons. Some to talk with their deceased ancestors, others feared they would become too powerful, and some believed that conjuring a dead a taboo and figured that they should be exterminated. Normally children like Hibiki would only be with their parents for a year before being kidnapped. His parents knew exactly this, So they decided they rather hide him into another shinobi family then have him taken into a world of running and hiding. They gave him to a family in Konohagakure to be raised.
The family took him in and raised them like their own. He lived pretty much an average ninja in training life. But, he began to notice he was different from everyone else. He saw things that he couldn’t explain. He kept this to himself until around 10 years old he told his parents about them. They denied it and told him that it was all his imagination. But, he grew old and his foster parents began to worry. Everyone in his ninja academy thought he was crazy and usually kept their distance from him. He went though most of his academy life technically alone. The students kept away from him but the spirits and ghost didn’t. He would usually talk to them. But, to the outside world he was talking to himself.
When he passed his exams and became a genin he was assigned with two other fellow classmates. However these classmates usually ignored him. Hibiki was a pretty skilled shinobi. He was a well rounded person. He didn’t excel at anything nor did he fail at anything. It was then that he met the two spirits that would change his world. His father and mother had recently died and their spirit came to Hibiki to teach him as planned when they left him. They revealed to him his true heritage and began to train him in the way of the Spirit Clan. It was also then that his kekkai genkai fully activated and he became somewhat “less” human. He could walk through walls, disappear and reappear somewhere else, and even levitate. However his parents told him to keep these abilities secret as if his teacher found out about his true heritage there may be some “alterations” to his parents plan. So he was taught the basic abilities quickly allowing him to switch from a normal human being to his true self.
During this time he trained as an around person to the public. But, in private he learned special skills that only he and his remaining clan members are able to use. He continued doing missions and his control over how he was viewed in public became more of a mask. He no longer talked to spirits in public. People began to believe it was just a phase and he wasn’t crazy after all. He passed the chunnin exams at 16 and began learning higher leveled skills from the spirits of his parents.
It was then that his parents had to leave and move on. But, right before they left they told him the Clans greatest secret; a secret that has driven them to this very point. He learned that people of the Clan are decedents of the Shinigami, the Death God. He was to serve under the shinigami from here on. Under the Shinigami’s guidance he learned Scythe art techniques. At age 18 he was taught the art of spiritual meditation. The Shinigami wanted him to go into a sort of hibernation along with the other few spirit clan members for the time being. So at age 18 he left Konoha and used his Sleeping Spirit Technique quite made him enter a deep state of mediation. While in this state his sense of time stopped along with his ageing.
Time went by and the people he knew came and went. 110 years passed without the Shinigami awakening him and, when he was called into service, Hibiki was prepared to do anything for his master. The Shinigami didn’t state why, but he told Hibiki to join the Akatsuki for the time being. Even though, he didn’t like the idea of joining an organization like that, he obeyed.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Shinigami is a summon seal. So he does technically exist in the Naruto Universe.
