APPEARANCE: Shizu has long blue hair parted in the center of her forehead which is covered in her red headband and creates bangs that dangle around her face. Shizu's royal blue ponytail reaches down to her thin waist where she keeps her dark brown leather belt. She has deep blue eyes, an average nose, and a small mouth. Her genuine and infectious laugh is a way to recognize her.
When Shizu fights she is more like a wave than a ninja. She is swift and will dance out of your reach at the last moment just to come back with more will. She dodges rather than blocks and when she hits she swamps. Shizu sweeps rather than walks and holds her head (and blue hair) high.
CLOTHING: On her belt Shizu keeps her kunai knives, throwing stars, needles, paper bombs, smoke bombs, 40 feet of wire, and summoning scrolls. Her shirt is bright red with a high collar and the wraps bandages tight around her stomach. Shizu also wears long blue shorts and wraps bandages around her ankles. She wears traditional Japanese sandals on her rather small feet. She wears a bright red headband on her forehead with no village symbol because of her undercover activity. Shizu usually wears different clothes when working under cover but these are her pleasure clothes.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: Shizu’s blue hair distinguishes her as Shizu and only Shizu. Her bright red shirt and headband are also trademarks when off duty.

PERSONALITY: Shizu is generally a laid back and relaxed lass. She is happy and carefree until you reach the topic of her brother. Then she is razor sharp and turns serious. Shizu is very protective of her younger brother because of a near fatal accident when both of them were young. Usually when you find Shizu, her brother is not far behind.
Shizu has few friends because she grew up with only her brother, with whom she spent most of her time. When she became a genin, she branched out more, and she now has a few friends. Any friends she grows really close to and approves of become something like a part of her and her brother’s family. She is playful with most boys and only gets serious with the best of them. Shizu also has a passion for weapons and design and sometimes even create them. She uses different metals in different weapons from iron to copper. She has also created other bombs such as the sound bomb that lets out a high pitched note for about eight seconds.

HISTORY: Shizu grew up in a small family including her mom, her dad, and her brother. When she was six years old her mother fell ill to an incurable sickness. She survived much longer than most did which gave her family false hope. After eighteen months of being ill Shizu’s mother found death and her family found despair.
Two years later Shizu’s brother was nearly killed when his horse threw him off its back during a storm. After breaking half the bones in his body the horse fled from them. A heartbroken Shizu took him straight to the hospital and stayed with him for half a week refusing to leave him. When they returned the house was empty. Their father had abandoned them out of depression. Together they raised each other to become two talented ninja, one genin and one chuunin.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Shizu is having doubts about what is safest for her brother and having trouble controlling him, too. When she uses Tornado of Water she inserts weapons into the vortex. When the enemy is engulfed by it you can see bits of crimson spining in it.
