Kumori frowned slightly for a split second after hearing that it had taken the older, more experienced ninja three years to master his own technique. Kumori then noticed he had mentioned it required alot of patience, which he had learned to acquire from his running from the ANBU, sometimes he would be in hiding for multiple day's just staring at the wall of a random cave not able to move or he would have been discovered. He then turned his head to a noise he had just realized was actually music coming from a set of speakers set beside a tree. Kumori had been to focused on the other ninja to notice it before, he must have simply blocked it out as he did with alot of things when he was concentrating on something. He then looked back as he saw the younger ninja begin running for the other end of the line, he then noticed a slight bit of anger barely hidden in his words as he threatened to call off the training if another action without his orders was performed.
Kumori was beginning to like this older man, he had a bit of order and discipline in his training methods. He nodded his head adding, "Yes I will join. I have nothing better to do around here, thank you for offering." Kumori removed his pouch of kunai and shuriken he kept on his right leg and set it aside as to increase is mobility. He then turned back to the other one, getting a glimpse of his eyes noticing he had a great amount of determination towards learning this technique. Kumori was never that great at controlling his chakra, though he would give his all into learning this technique. It would defiantly be of use to him if he encountered any ANBU later on. Kumori then noticed he had mentioned a name, obviously referring to the wolf, Ookami. But he realized he did not know the other's names. "May I ask your name's aswell?" Kumori had asked, wondering if he would remember either of them from his traveling.

Jiro nodded at Ookami’s advice.”Alright, thanks for the advice Ookami. My name is Jiro Uchiha.” The MP4 player stopped playing once the song had finished playing, the battery was dead. He was a bit disappointed but his face didn’t show it. Right focus my chakra all over my body. He stood there with the sheep hand seal equal to the centre of his chest.
”Focus it to your chakra network I’ll handle the rest.” His hands dropped out of the seal and once again he looked around. “Anyone else around?!” He was starting to get pissed off by the voice especially seeing as wheneer he heard it, it was like no one else heard it. Why was it that life was this way? Why?

Kagoñe stood there when Kumori asked for his name. He looked over at the Uchiha, who was looking around again. "I'm Kagoñe Konpaku. Jiro, there is someone else here, I'm just ignoring him. If he is giving you advice or trying to help, just take it, and stop worrying. Also this is a test run, so don't go wasting your chakra again. I need to see how fast you are able run, without the chakra," Kagoñe said looking at Jiro now. "Kumori since you want to train as well, stand here at this line. Like I said, no chakra is to be used. I also need to create two more clones, that way I can keep track of time easier," and he did just that. there is now two clones at the line 50 yards away, and two clones at the starting line.
Kagoñe pulled out a stop watch ready to time the two of them as they ran. "Now, when I say go, you are to run to the other line, where my two clones are at. You are then to count 30 seconds, before you make the run back. Remember, no chakra. Also, try to pace yourself as well, I don't want you getting tired on me the moment you are done with this test." Kagoñe waited for about 40 seconds after he finished talking before he said. He also started the stop watch at that very moment as well. Now all he has to do is just watch them run the course.
Ookami just stood where she was, not getting in the way at the moment. She already knew what was coming next, she would get into position the moment both of them crossed the line. She even yelled to motivate them, "Come on you two, I know you can move faster then that. Show Kagoñe what you've got, and prove him wrong about his technique." The little cheer that she yelled grew into a habit, because of her genin summoner. Ookami always liked helping people train, and is patient with everyone. She didn't care what rank the person is, all she knows is that they can always to better, and she always tries to motivate them to do their best.

Kumori took in the names that he was given and tried to remember if he had ever heard of either of them anywhere he had been. He failed to remember, and then realized Jiro had mentioned his last name was Uchiha. Kumori smirked inside, thinking 'Another Uchiha huh. Now I see why this kid might had potential. Especially if he can master his Sharingan.' He lined up on the line next to Jiro and waited for the go. Kumori loved challenges, and a race was his specialty. After long running from the ANBU he was confident his speed without chakra would get him to the end pretty quickly. Kumori awaited the go and right once he heard it he took off towards the finish. He used all of his strength to push him as fast as he could go not guided by chakra.
Kumori also noticed he had set a timer the second he said go, so this would also tell him the exact time it took him to reach the finish. He was used to long runs and had a great amount of endurance, so he was sure at this distance full speed wouldn't be a problem to hold to there and back. Especially with the thirty second wait at the end, this would be easy. Kumori quickly reached the finish, not timing himself, though immediately after stopping he began counting to thirty which would signify his return.

Jiro ran near the fastest he could towards the other line. Breathing in through his nose and out through his mouth. He ran with his head down and his arms facing up word out to his sides. This was the way his Father had taught him to run, in a way it was the cheats way of increasing your speed. When he reached the line he stopped and crossed his arms pushing out away from his chest. He did this to regain his breath. He had started counting the moment he crossed the line. one thousand and twenty eight, one thousand and twenty nine, one thousand and thirty! CHARGE!
When he reached thirty he ran off back to the other line once again running with his head down and arms extended. Almost there! Come on legs we’re in the home stretch! He was about ten more strides from the line now and was doing pretty well time wise. Within a couple seconds he was over the line again. He then began doing the kocku he was doing back at the other line.

Kagoñe watched as the two ran to the other line, and ran back. He was also annoyed at Ookamis cheering, but didn't get onto her because shes just doing what she normally does. Once both of them crossed the line, Ookami imediatly went up to the line and readied herself for her turn. "Not bad, not bad at all. Jiro, your time going both ways is 1 minute 59 seconds. Kumori your time is, 1 minute 48 seconds. I did subtract 30 seconds off because of my orders, so you don't need to worry about that. Getting half-way, Jiro your time, 48 seconds, Kumori, 39 seconds. I'm not surprised that Kumori is faster, knowing that he has to run most of the day, and even nights. But for a genin, Jiro, I'm impressed," he said, double checking, and triple checking to make sure he got the time right. There's no mistaking it, The Uchiha is good, "If I was the same age as you Jiro, you would most deffinitly be faster then me. Ookami, Kumori wasn't here when I performed the technique, so I need to do a demestration run."
Kagoñe walked over to the line, and tossed Kumori the stop watch. "When I say go, you are to start the the time. I will not be having a 30 second break, so there will be no need to subtract thirty," he said getting ready to run, "On second thought, when Ookami says go, that way you know I'm not cheating." He quickly did some calculations in his head, Okay, the line is 50 yards away, so it's a 100 yard dash. If I break using my old method it can quickly get me ready for the dash back, calculate all that, he thought to himself. He finally had the answer he was looking for, and knew roughly what his time would be. "Okay, get ready for a nice demestraion of speed. I'm going to cross this line in roughly 50 seconds, give or take a couple of seconds. Ookami anytime your ready."
Ookami stood at the starting line still waiting for Kagoñe to give her the okay to say go. She waited a few seconds and yelled loud enough to scare the birds from the tree, "GO!" In that moment, Kagoñe took off, leaving an indentation in the earth, of him kicking himself forward. In what may seem like a blink of an eye, Kagoñe already started to break, digging his feet into the earth, leaving a nice long indentation, as if a large sword had cut that area. When he slowed enough, he darted back to the other line. This time instead of skidding to a stop, it was a very sudden, leaving no mark of him breaking. When he crossed the line he yelled out, "Time," to indicate for the time to stop. He looked back at the mark he left at the other line, and looked at Jiro, and Kumori, "I hoped you payed attention to what I did. Which one of my breaking systems do you think is most effective, and why? Kumori, you first, then Jiro." HE always liked asking questions after demestrating his techniques, because it lets him know who was paying attention, and which ones should be barred from the training.

Kumori noticed the young Uchiha had been right behind him, only a few seconds slower than himself. He was surprised, seeing as to how much he had dedicated himself to running, a youngster such as himself could almost be as fast as him. Kumori sighed on the inside thinking to himself 'I need to get faster.' He then counted to thirty, running back to the other line crossing it. Kumori waited for his time, and heard one minute and thirty-nine seconds. He figured he could do better if he was able to use trees and the such to his advantage, though he knew the point of the race was a dry run. No chakra use, strictly running.
Kumori then saw Kogone begin preparing himself to run the line himself. He smirked, waiting for him to go. He was going to time it himself to know for sure the time. Kumori heard the wolf yell go, and he began counting up. He was impressed with the great speed, stopping the count after he crossed the line. Kumori wasn't surprised his time was much shorter than his own, though he was curious as to why the skid. He then heard the man ask them a question about his slowing method. Kumori then remember his skidding across the line before, then just a regular stop. He thought for a moment, counting the exact difference in time it took to slow in both circumstances. Kumori then answered, "I believe the most effective way was the second stop, instead of skidding you simply stopped. If you skid, the enemy can see were you will stop and can attack you there, or you could simply skid into an enemy which could be very deadly." He was satisfied with his answer, thinking he had givin the right answer.

Jiro watched as Kagoñe executed the technique along with two stopping techniques. When he asked which of the two stopping techniques were most effective he instantly though the second one. He was all set to reply with his answer when a whole bunch of scenarios from the Academy filled his head. He completely ignored Kumori’s answer as he pieced his answer together.
“It all depends on the situation your in while using the technique. The first one is best for setting traps and other similar situations. Where as the second one is best for sudden stops.” He folded his arms across his chest, a look of contempt with his answer on his face.

Kagoñe was impressed with the answer given by both Kumori, and Jiro. They were both good answers, with very good scenarios. Ookami had nodded at both of their answers for she agreed as well to what they said. "Very good. Kumori it will be deadly for you to use the first stop in a battle. Jiro you too are correct, it all depends on the situation. Kumori already said the negative to the first stopping technique, and the positive to the second. Jiro only mentioned the positive to the first stop. The Negative side to the second stop, is that it can also be very deadly, or can be very damaging to the muscles," Kagoñe spoke, Ookami nodding along to his words.
Ookami decided to take over the explanation, because she feels that her explanation is better, and knows Kagoñe would allow it. "The reason why the second can be deadly is for one reason, and one reason alone. It requires the release of the chakra your using for this technique, and sending it out in front of you. If you release too much chakra, more then what your using for the technique, it will explode in front of you sending you backwards. If you release too little chakra you will slow but will continue for a short while turning you from a wepon, to an easy target. For this situation, I suggest using the first stopping technique, for it requires no release of chakra, and you won't have to re-concentrate all that chakra. So in a sense you will use less chakra if you going to use the first stop," Ookami finished with a grin, because it's the first time Kagoñe nodded to her words.
Kagoñe then shook his head a little at the grin Ookami gave. "Ookami is right, the first stop would be best in this situation, however I was hoping you two would have figured it out yourselves, but what's past is past. Kumori, you never gave me my time. Now it is time to have a little race against Ookami. I don't want you two to try and best each other, but to try and best Ookami and Ookami alone. Now get ready to concentrate your chakra, it's your turn to try the technique." Ookami stood, and moved to the starting ine ready to start the race. She looked at both Kumori, and Jiro with a grin.
