(lol, Mei is gathering quite the group of guards)
"Hey now, there's no need to fight gentle men. You have ladies present, nor it is proper to fight in front of children."
The voice, was calm, soothing, and came from no where. She was bored, cooped up at the base all the time. She'd decided to stretch her legs and see if Hibiki needed her help. She doubted he would, but it was a good excuse to get out of the base. She also wanted to stop by a CD store and pick up something on her way back, to make it less boring when she was actually there. But at the current moment, she was walking calmly through the mist, approaching Hibiki, 4 other ninja, lo-and-behold, Kagone Konpaku.
Her high heels strangly made no noise in the eerie mist as she finally came into view. Her amazingly long navy hair for once wasn't tied up. It reached the back of her knees now, where it usually reached mid thigh. Her midnight eyes held a soft, and kind look to them, matching her smile. However, the males eyes would be diverted to her chest. Large breasts were enough to make quite a few have a nosebleed. Her curvy figured finally paused next to Hibiki's cart.
She smiled, a genuine smile, at the little girl, before giving Kagone a once over, then ignored him. Though a woman, she wasn't to be taken lightly. She placed one of her creamy white hands on her hip, jutting the later out in a rebel stance. She grinned at the four ninja, a cool smile slipping across her beautiful face.
"Will you heed my advice, or do you want to know why Akatsuki is so feared?"

OOC: *facepalm* Okay, then. It'll go: me, Hibiki, Kon, then Kijo. xD Alright? Mei looked around her, confused. These were ninja from her village... Why would they be after her? She'd left them, hadn't stolen anything, and now they didn't have to worry about having a Youki amongst them. Why would they come after her?
Suddenly, everyone seemed angry and ready to fight, and Mei's tired mind could barely understand what was going on. That woman hadn't been there before, had she? Mei smiled tentatively back, not really knowing what she was doing. She seemed nice enough, anyway, and she wasn't yelling, so that was good.
Mei-Mei, you need to stay awake. And be careful. That woman just said Akatsuki. I think she's dangerous.
Mei nodded and tried to make sense of what was going on. These ninja wanted to fight, and it looked like the strangers around her wanted to fight, too. But why? She couldn't seem to think of a reason for the fighting. If only she had some time to sleep...
Mei! Stay awake!
Mei shook herself out of the stupor and moved closer to Hibiki, instinctively clutching at his hand before blushing and placing her hand on the wagon.
Mei, he isn't your family. He's a stranger. We need to stay wary, even if he is nice.
"I kn- know," Mei whispered back. She grabbed at the kunai knife in her pocket and held on to its handle. She wasn't exactly sure what she would do with it if forced to fight, but she igured it was best to be ready. If only she'd been able to rest...

Hibiki wondered Kijo knew what the girl was. He hoped that she didn’t though. He still kept calm however. He went into the cart and pulled out his Akatsuki cloak and put it on him to show he was back on duty. Like usual, his sleeves where so long that it barely hovered over the floor. “Kijo, may I ask as to why you are here?” His body began to levitate only a few inches above the floor. “I strongly suggest you leave right now,” said Hibiki to the ninjas.
But they didn’t listen and 3 of them charged forward while the 4 was overlooking that battle. “I suppose he must be the leader,” thought Hibiki. The guy who charged at him made a lunge at him. “I wonder what rank is this one… genin?” provoked Hibiki to the charging ninja. Hibiki has found that provoking usually causes sloppy fighting which in turn causes their downfall. Hibiki moved over to the right making the ninja run pat him only to pull out a katana to slice Hibiki on his left side. The slice ran right threw “him”. But only it revealed only to be a spirit lantern clone that was slice.
“Such sloppy work…” said Hibiki, who appeared right next to Mei, before sending a few spirit lantern to attack the ninja and knock him away from him and Mei. He then looked down at Mei “Be careful and stay out of sight with these guys. They are not afraid to kill."
He noticed how the girl clutched his arm. It reminded him of his past when he use to do that to his parents. It felt kind of odd for him but he was ok with it. He then noticed the Kunai in her pocket. Hibiki gave a small smile. “It’s all right you’re not going to get hurt I promise,” reassured Hibiki before he noticed the same ninja charging at him once again. He then looked at Kijo and Kagoñe to see how they were doing. But, he knew they wouldn’t break a sweat with these guys.

Kagoñe watched as three of the four ninjas charged at Hibiki, while one stayed behind. He pulled nails out from his pouch, 2 1 inch nails, in which one of them had a rite. He also pulled out one of his swords from his weapon scroll. He did a single hand seal, because the sword has a special seal that allows only one hand seal needed, and it turned into a sword of lightning. The sword produced electricity, which lit up the mist, Say hellow to my Lightning Sword," he said throwing the two nails, at the ninja that didn't charge.
The nails missed, which was what Kagoñe was hoping for. One moment he was standing there, and then in the blink of an eye, he was behind who he assumed the leader of the 4 ninjas were, with his sword out, as if he had made a cut. He didn't make a cut, but he put his sword up to the neck, "Everyone stop where you are. If you don't want your fellow shinobi to die, you will do as I say," Kagoñe said in a calm, emotionless tone of voice. With the way he sounded, people may asume he's done this before, which he has.
Keeping his emotionless tone, to keep fear in his opponents, he spoke, "Mei, are you okay? Do you have any idea why these ninjas are after you, or could it be because of the spirit inside you?" he asked. He wasn't going to give away her bouken, because he doesn't know if any of the people who are protecting her would kill her because of it. When he looked over, with his kekkei genkai still active, because of the dense fog, he did notice a slight swaying to her, which indicates tiredness. "Mei your tired, you don't have to speak if you don't want too," he said, probably knowing he wouldn't get a response from her.

Kijo rolled her eyes as they attacked. One came straight for her. She didn't move. She gave a small smirk.
"Boredom."
He came towards her at full speed, which she used her her advantage. Her free arm, the one not on her hip, suddenly turned rigid as he came withing arms length. The brass knuckles on her glove glinted in the mist, the only sign of what was about to happen. Using a variation of one of her Jutsus, she focused chakara into her hand. She brought her hand towards the ninja in an uppercut, and he was too late to dodge. She punched him, square in the jaw, and sent him in the air.
Without batting an eye, she preformed hand signs at rapid speed. She breathed in a deep breath, sticking out her already huge chest, and let it out in an explosion of fire, consuming the man she had just recently punched. Returning to her former position, she perked only slightly when Kagone spoke. Spirit? As in Youki? She shrugged, not really caring. It wasn't them she hated. They'd given her no reason. She was neutral to them. She looked a Hibiki, a questioning look in her eyes. Did he plan to attempt to keep the girl within the Akatsuki base? He was going to have one hell of a time explaining that to the other members.
She noted the girls tired appearance, and knew she had to finish this off quickly. It was a simple matter of more hand signs and the same jutsu to finish off the other two, sorry Hibiki. She left the last on to Kagone. He was already holding him at sword point.

Mei looked up at Hibiki and nodded, moving to stay behind the cart. She still held the kunai in her hand. It was better to be safe than sorry. She blinked away her exhaustion as best she could, and watched the fight unfold.
That masked man... He moved quickly, in an almost frightening way. In one blink, he could be across a clearing. Mei wondered how he did it. Mei listened to his words carefully.
"I'm okay," she called, "I don't know why they came for me. I went away so they wouldn't have to worry about me." She shook her head wonderingly. As if her being tired was important in the middle of a battle. She blinked again, and stepped next to Hibiki, hoping that it was over. OOC: Grrrr. I dislike this post. xD I wish I'd been able to reply to Hibiki and Kon's seperately. >.< Oh, well. xD

“Boredom? You followed me because you were bored?” said Hibiki in an unsure tone. He was wondering if she actually followed him to insure he was doing his job. But, he took that idea off because he was on his break. He figured he will find out later anyway. “Wow you guys like getting things down fast and hard don’t you?” commented Hibiki on Kijo and Kagoñe’s fighting style. But he figured as much from a Jinchuuriki and an fellow member of the Akatsuki.
He then took notice to Kora’s reply. “You don't need to explain things you don't want to answer. But, you need to choose to leave with me or go back home. I’m sure your mom and dad are devastated that you gone,” warned Hibiki. If she was to leave, even if it wasn’t with him, he wanted to make sure that she is 100% sure and willing to do so. He knew that any form of doubt wouldn’t work. It never did for that matter.
He turned his gaze over to Kijo. “So how is everyone doing back at base? Hiroshi isn’t bugging people to much now is he?” joked Hibiki. He then made all of his spirit lanterns vanish with a sway of his hand with the exception of one small lantern. He then grabbed that one and shoved it into his chest. “There all better, I feel all humany again,” joked Hibiki. He never joked so much in his live. Was it the fact that there was a young relative here, he didn’t know.
He did know he will have a lot of explaining to do back at the base if the girl was to come with him. “I got all the food here. So if you came in fear that I might lose it again… see it’s right here,” said Hibiki pointing at the card full of food.

Kagoñe smirked under his mask. This girl maybe tired, but she knows how to fight it off while there is a battle going on he tthought to himself. IF she is still content on running away,Kagoñe was wondering what would happen to her, if she went with Hibiki. When he dropped his sword, he watched as the ninja ran away.
Kagoñe walks up to the cart and laughed. Putting a happy tone back on he spoke, "That was way too easy. Mist ninjas are pathetic, don't you think?" he asked looking up at Hibiki. He looked back over at Mei, who still looked tired. "If you want, you can go to sleep. We will wake you if more ninjas are to attack," he said, smiling under his mask. He didn't think that this was over, and hopes Mei would, because she would need her strength in case she needed to run again.

She watched the last ninja run off, glad at least one of them had had some sense. She turned to Hibiki as he began to talk. She grinned, knowing she'd been caught. She held up her hands, a smile still on her face as she answered Hibiki.
"Okay, you caught me. Yes, Hiro is annoying Masuyo. I didn't want to be there when Masuyo blew up the base trying to kill Hiro."
She laughed, knowing that Masuyo wouldn't blow up the base. He'd have to build it again, all by himself. She wouldn't help him. Probably make Hiro help, considering it would be partly his fault. But she'd be sitting back, chilling in the shade. She laughed when Kagone got finished talking. Why was he saying 'we'?
"Hey, Kagone, news flash. You're. Not. Following. Us. To. The. Base. Off duty or not, Masuyo will have your head. Mine and Hibiki's included for letting you follow us. It would really be best if you scuttled away now like the filthy demon you are."
Did I mention that Kijo hates the Jinchuuriki?

Mei looked around her. The fighting was over? Well... That was fast. Certainly nothing like what the teachers at the Academy had said, but then again, she'd only had a year of training, so maybe she hadn't gotten to the speed part...
She looked up at Hibiki, her jaw set. "They're probably sad, but they're safer with me out here, and right now I think that I'm safer out here than I am in the village. Were... Were those ninjas after me? I thought that the problem would stop when I left..."
Suddenly, she whipped around, glaring at Kagone. "Mist ninjas, are not pathetic. Don't insult them. And I don't need to sleep right now. I can stay up as long as I need to."
This was an absolutely horrible time to yawn. As such, the Universe felt that this was the time to punish Mei for all of the bad things she had ever done and made her yawn a wide, exhausted yawn. When she was finished, she glared at Kagone, daring him to contradict her. She didn't like people who insulted her family, and she was too tired to decide if it had been an accident or not.

“Ah it’s all fun and games with Hiroshi,” said Hibiki. There was a long pause before he continued “I hope our base is still sanding when we get back…” He knew that if the base did get destroyed he would end up helping rebuild it. It wasn’t that he was forced to or anything, he was to soft hearted. He then noticed the “warning” Kijo gave to Kagone. He never found those demons filthy. But, he knew one should always be caution with one however. “Easy now, you should treat everyone with respect even if they are your enemy,” commented Hibiki to Kijo’s verbal attack.
He turned his attention to Kagone and said “I thank yuo for your help. But, her statement does some truth in it. The next we meet I may have to kill you,” said Hibiki. In his mind he certainly wished he wouldn’t meet him again. He saw him as a good soul. He didn’t need a clan jutsu to tell.
“Mist ninja’s are quite a formidable force. That is if you meet the right ones,” said Hibiki. He knew ninja’s of the mist were deadly. They gave him trouble back when he was an official ninja; not the missing ninja that he was now. He then turned over and looked at Mei for a minute. “Problems don’t stop right when you leave. Look at me, I left too and I have tons of people after me. But you won’t need to worry about those problems yet. I’ll handle everything,” answered Hibiki to Mei’s question.

"I was only talking about the ninjas that attacked us. Thinking they can take on two akatsuki members, and another S-ranked criminal. I also thought it was the goal of the Akatsuki to capture the jinchuuriki, and bring them to base, so they can remove the demon from withen." Kagoñe said, turning to look at the girl who spoke about the akatsuki base.
Kagoñe looked back over at Mei he didn't say anything for a while but he was thinking of something. "Hibiki, if this girl goes with you to the Akatsuki base, not only would she have to deal with ninjas from the mist, but also ninjas from the other villages too. If she comes with me, she would still have to worry about the ninjas from other villages, but she would be safe in Konoha," he said turning his head to look at Hibiki, his eyes still hidden by the hood.

She let out a sigh, reeling in her anger. Keeping a cool head, she smiled as she looked at the girl. She knelt down beside her, knowing that the girl was tried. Kijo herself liked her fiery spirit. She would make a good ninja someday.
"You don't need to stay awake right now though. By the way, I wasn't in time to catch your name."
She smiled as she waited for her answer. She turned her head slightly, towards Kagone when he began to speak. She listened, not really bothered until he suggested that she go with him. How had she known that he would suggest that. Her anger flared again, but this time, she kept her cool. She stood, and got right up close to Kagone, and hissed her next words at him.
"And you think she'd be safer with you? Let me remind you that the whole Akatsuki is after your head, but many have no qualms about killing a little girl if she gets in their way."

Mei looked up at Hibiki warily. "You will? But... why?"
Mei, are you alright? You're tired... Don't make rash decisions.
Mei's eyes blanked for a moment, before she spoke again, seemingly to thin air. "I'm fine, Boukey. Where have you been?"
Mei could feel Boukey smiling. I figured you had enough to deal with without me butting in.
Mei nodded. "I think you're right about that." She tried to think. Kagone said that she'd be in danger with the Akatsuki, with Hibiki. But Hibiki had told her he'd take care of everything. And Kijo said that Kagone was in danger too, and that the people who wanted to hurt him wouldn't be afraid of killing a little girl... Wait, Kagone wanted her to stay with him?
But... Didn't she get a say in this at all? She didn't want to live with Kagone. Hibiki had been nice, and calm, and hadn't told on her. Kagone seemed nice enough, too, but... His voice. It was scary, and he always wore that mask...
When Kijo knelt down beside her, Mei looked at the woman a little shyly. "I'm Mei," she said, "What's your name?" Her voice was quiet, a lot less bold than it normally was. No matter what she said, even if she could stay up, she really was tired.
"Do I have to? Go with you, Hibiki? Or with you, Kagone?"
Her voice was louder this time, almost challenging. She didn't want to go with anyone, if they were going to make her. Not even Hibiki, even if she wanted to go with him. She wouldn't go if they tried to make her. She gripped the kunai in her pocket more firmly, staring down the three adults.

“True, one of our many goals is to capture the jinchuuriki. But, tell me do you know what happens to those after we extract the beast from its host?” answered Hibiki to Kagone’s comment. Kijo’s protectiveness for the girl was somewhat surprising with a stroke of irony as well. He found it ironic that she who hated Jinchuuriki so much is protecting a Youki, which is all respects quite similar. Hibiki hoped to keep it this way. He secretly wished that Kijo wouldn’t find out. But, he also felt somewhat like a betrayer for keeping this from here and the others.
“Konoha will never due. I dare not imagine what they will do to her,” said Hibiki. He, coming from that village, knew that they would never treat a person from the spirit clan with open arms. O be dropped of by criminals no doubt would cause suspicion in the village as the legality of her being innocent.
“In any event it all goes down to choice. Whichever path she chooses I will support her one way or another. So Mei, what is your choice?” asked Hibiki. This wasn’t something he would normally do be he was told this was the best way by an ancestor of his a while back. He wondered if “he” knew when he gave Hibiki some words of wisdom.
“You can even travel alone. But, I still don’t advise that being good idea. You would make everyone even more worried. He noticed her more firm tone. Hibiki gave a small smile. “No one is going to hurt you here. You don’t need to worry. We are just trying to help,” said Hibiki to Mei.
