((OOC: I'm posting as Mizuno)
The sun shone high upon the Konoha sky. The flowers blossomed, birds chirpped, and the occasional genin would run by, chasing another genin. For the first time in three years Mizuno Keitaro, sanin of Kumogakure, had returned to Konoha. Mizuno was in town doing research on a flower specific to Konoha, a flowe whose petals, when crushed, emitted a gas that could put anyone to sleep.
Mizuno gleefully strode through Konoha, he'd haven't even been here for ten minutes, but he was hungry. He arrived at Ichiraku Ramen, taking the middle of the five chairs. Mizuno looked across the counter at the waiter, waiting for him to walk over. When he finally did Mizuno gave a huge smile and ordered.
"I'll have one..." Mizuno paused.
Mizuno paused because the five tailed dog inside him, the Gobi had awoken.
"I thought you were sleeping all day".
"No, just until we got to Konoha".
"That's not what you said yesterday".
"Change of plans".
When Mizuno was finished arguing with the Gobi he turned back to the waiter.
"One of everything please" he smiled.
The waiter scratched his head, looking at Mizuno like he was insane or something. Miuno merely sat there, his golden eyes looking deep into waiters' eyes.
"Well, are you gonna get it" Mizuno questioned.
The waiter hesitantly walked away, coming back a good six minutes later with three other waiters, all of them with bowls of ramen of all flavors. |

After encountering the bat boy Kazuo, Youtsuki thought it was time to feed himself and try to forget about the cruel flashbacks he had on his way to the village. The moment he seen Ichimaru's ramen booth he sat down quietly and didn't say a word. He noticed that there had been maybe many bowls of ramen but only one man, it was weird but Youtsuki didn't really pay any mind. He ordered a bowl for himself and waited patiently for it to be served.
(Ahh short post, didn't really know how to enter since Youtsuki usually eats at his apartment alone)

Mizuno laid seige to ten bowls of ramen one after the other, stuffing his face full of the white noodles. When he had made his way through twenty bowls he noticed that there were none left. He looked to his side, noticing that a genin had entered and placed and order. Mizuno turned in hs chair to face the genin, looking him deep in the face.
"Hello kid" Miuno boomed.
Mizuno turned back to the counter, making his payments, then turned back to the kid. He placed his right hand atop the kids' head, getting a feel for his chakara. He looked the kid in the eyes with a smile as he did so, and when he was finished scanning the chakara a voice roared in his head.
"No".
"What?"
"We are not taking him with us".
"I need an apprentice".
"I don't care".
"But he's a jinchuuriki".
"I was the first to know".
"So let's take him".
Mizuno had finished arguing with the Gobi, something he did often. The Gobi and Mizuno got along, probablythe best that a host and a bijuu could get along, but the Gobi didn't like many of the choices that he made and often liked to boss him around.
"Come with me kid" Mizuno said as he left Ichiraku. |

Youtsuki eyed the man, wondering why the hell he just patted his head. Youtsuki received his bowl of ramen and began eating slowly and when he heard the man tell him to go with him, Youtsuki's eyebrow shot straight up.
"Do I know you?"
Youtsuki asked, in somewhat of a deep confusion. He began to think the man was drunk and had no idea what he was doing himself besides be a total lunatic.

Mizuno stood there at the entrance to Ichiraku, waiting for the boy to follow, and when the boy asked a question Mizuno turned and laughed. The fact that the boy's bijuu did not tell him that Mizuno was also a jinchuuriki meant that the two weren't very close. Mizuno took one step towards the boy, looking him in the eyes.
"I'll tell you what. Come with me and yo'll be known throughout the lands as the sanins apprentice and one day even become a sanin. Don't come with me and ou can spend your life with your bijuu, being known only to those you help on your missions and those around you".
Mizuno smiled, then walked directly out of Ichiraku, awaiting the boy to follow. Mizuno felt that in his heart the boy had potential to surpass him, the boy already beared a strongr demon than him, but could he control it was the question.
"Why".
"Why what?".
"Why the eight tailed brat".
"Why not?".
"You know I was defeated by the eight tailed bijuu".
"I know, I like making you mad". |

After slurping up the last of his ramen, Youtsuki heard the man's words and started to remember his dream of becoming known. The man did really sound a bit crazy thought, its not like everyday a man walks up to some random person and tells them that he came make them stronger then they already are. Not to mention being a legendary Sanin, that part really threw Youtsuki off.
"Why do you Konoha ninja act so strange?"
Youtsuki asked as he rose up from his seat and stood behind the man. He was willing to follow the man since he felt like it could do him no harm, if he were to pull something crazy Youtsuki was ready to go on his offense.

Mizuno heaved a sigh of dissappointment, the boy thought that Mizuno was a Konoha ninja. Wrong! Mizuno turned to the boy once more, looking him square in the eye, fire in his eyes.
"Do not affiliate me with Konoha. Although I am a legendary sanin I am not from this village. Do not put me in the same category as a Konoha sanin, I am on a much higher level than they are, don't make that mistake again".
Mizuno made a motion for Youtsuki to follow him, but he had a better idea. There was a chance that the boy was unaware of Mizuno's powers. Mizuno began to walk toward the boy, then suddenly dissappeared. He reappered on a building moer than two hundred meters away.
"What are you doing now".
"Testing the boy".
"Don't make him angry".
"Why not".
"Because of the eight tailed demon".
"Are you that afraid".
"No, it's dangerous that's all".
"I'll tell you what kid, to be my apprentice you have to have some talent. You must have the speed of a cheetah, the strength of twenty men, and you must be able to control your demon with no problem. For you to become my apprentice I want you to catch me".
"Why him"."Because he reminds me of me when I was a kid".
"You're lying".
"I know".
"Then why".
"Because if the akatsuki were to attack him he would be killed. I can't let them have the eight tailed beast, it's way to strong. If he's with me I can protect him and he'll learn how to protect himself". |

Youtsuki ignored his statement of being stronger than a Konoha and what not. He noticed that in a flash the man was gone and reappeared atop of a building. what the hell?... Youtsuki asked himself. He started to believe that this guy had some type of skill but that didn't scare Youtsuki. Youtsuki's eyes were now wide and full of suprizement when he heard the man say "You must be able to control your demon with no problem." "Huh? What?! How do you know that I'm a host? Whats going on?!"Youtsuki began to question, when he then heard him say "For you to become my apprentice I want you to catch me" Youtsuki began to get a bit irritated because he started to assume this man was some sort of trickster trying to play games. "Wait a minute, who said I wanted to be your apprentice?! |

Mizuno laid back on top of the building, his arms beind his head and his legs dangling off of the building. Once again he sighed a sigh of dissappointmen. Does this kid not know that he will be targeted by the akatsuki for his demon. Could this kid really be so dumb as to not accept help from a legendary sanin of Kumogakure?
"Listen kid".
Mizuno sat up then was gone in the blink of an eye, reappearing behind the boy. He knelt over so that he could whisper in the boys' ear.
"I too am a host. I scanned your chakara when I touched your head, and I saw your demonm, the eight tailed ox. You have inside of you one of the strongest bijuu, but it would be a waste if you were killed by akatsuki and had your bijuu taken away. I am offering you a chance to become known, to become powerful, and most of all to protect yourself" he whispered.
Once again Mizuno vanished, but he had left the boy a gift. The boy now had a one hundred and fifty pound bandage wrapped around his waist. Mizuno had straped it on the boy at the speed of light, one of his specialties.
"Catch me if you can" he laughed.
Mizuno reappeared sitting atop Ichiraku Ramen. Hopefully the kid could move with some level of speed with the bandages on, Mizuno did it on a daily basis. |

Youtsuki's eyes shot opened when he heard the man say he was a host just like him. For some reason Youtsuki thought he was the only one with a ferocious monster within him. Akatsuki....? Youtsuki wondered as he soon noticed that a heavy bag was put around his waiste. He had nearly fallen onto his knees due to the sudden increase of weight. Youtsuki stood up tall as if the 150 pound bandage was not fazing him at all, he got ready to use his quick step technique to catch this man but he realized that he was a bit too far out. Youtsuki's quick stepping wasn't that advanced yet to just appear behind someone who is was on a higher platform then he was. "Alright weirdo, I'll catch you"Youtsuki said as he began running towards the man with normal speed, when he got close to the booth Youtsuki bent his knees and then jumped straight onto the roof of the booth. He then attempted to grab the so called "sanin" |

Mizuno nearly burst into laughter when the boy collapesed from the bandages. What a light weight he was. The boy tried to jump on top of the rame booth to grab Mizuo, but he was moving at the speed of a slug to Mizuno. Mizuno dissppeared once again, reppearing on the ground ten meters away from the booth.
"Seriously kid, is that how fast you can move with those wieghts on. Oh, and I almost forgot, me dissappearing and reappearing, it's no justsu, that's how fast I am" he smiled.
Mizuno laid down on the ground with his hands stretched out towards the sky. Surely if the kid wanted to catch him he'd have to be alot craftier and not just take the direct approach. Mizuno laid on the ground, suddenly he sprung up, pulling a small summoning scroll from his pocket. Usually summoning scrolls were large and a ninja had to carry it on their back, but Mizuno had developed a new method of summoning scrolls, small scrolls that could fit in your pocket.
Mizuno rolled the scroll out in front of him, executing ten handsigns in less than three seconds. Mizuno slammed his hands on the scroll and a puff of smoke blew up from the scroll, surrounding the entire area. When the smoke cleared a small figure could be seen, it was a cat.
There was an average black cat with a swirl like symbol on it's forehead. The cat looked around, then let out a tremendous meow. The cat continued on, standing in front of Mizuno.
"What is it, what do you want now" the feline asked in a womans voice.
"I'm training someone and am in need of your assistance.
"How can I help?".
"Well Maneki, tell the boy he can use jutsu, and tell him to be fast. Show him where I am hiding and how he can catch me".
Maneki strolled over to the boy,she leaped on top of the booth, a mighty great jump for a cat.
"Use your jutsu, try to slow him down any way you can, and don't be predictable, do something unexpected" she told him. |

Youtsuki had almost gotten discouraged when the man kept disappearing and then reappearing and when he found out that was his actually speed he had gotten even more discouraged. Youtsuki just stared at him and noticed that he had been performing a summon and when he was done a cat popped out. He whispered something to the cat and in seconds the cat strolled over to Youtsuki to let him know that he was able to use jutsus.
"Ah great, now you tell me. Thanks furball"
Youtsuki replied as he thought of a way to catch this guy quickly and swiftly. For starters he was now on the ground which gave Youtsuki the idea of using his quick step technique. After moments of thinking, Youtsuki had come up with a plan. He began performing hand-seals
"Bunshin no Jutsu!"
He called out as an illusionary clone of himself appeared beside him. Youtsuki had then start performing handseals once more.
"Doton! Doryuu heki"[/b]
Youtsuki shouted as he vomitted out a wave of mud to form a solid wall infront of him. When the wall was done and the man was unable to see both Youtsuki and his clone. Youtsuki commanded his illsionary clone to jump ontop of the wall and launch an attack by throwing kunai and shuriken.
"Okay furball, stay behind this wall"
Youtsuki said as he used the transformation technique to turn into an exact replica of the cat. Youtsuki then started running away from the wall and acting as if he were the cat and moving away from the battle. As Youtsuki did this he was getting a bit closer to the man.

Type: Ninjutsu
Description: Henge no Jutsu is the basic skill a ninja must know to become a Genin. It is a very useful and widely used skill in the series, as it has many uses. It's mostly used as a decoy, to confuse the opponent by transforming into somebody that's an ally with the enemy.

Man, this kid must've really been a genin, or he was on the borderline for mental retardation. Had it ever occured to the kid that Mizuno would know his own summon when he saw it, did the kid ever once wonder why he sent the cat, it was to see what the kid what do, and he made the obvious move.
"What's the point in teaching him if he's gonna be a dunce".
"He won't always be at this level".
"You're not that oggd of a teacher".
"Nobody asked you".
"Nobody had to ask".
Mizuno looked around to where the false cat was, totally forgetting about the shurken and kunai that were launched at him. Mizuno waited for both the shuriken and the kunai to arrive in front of his face, then he swatted them both away. Mizuno dissppeared in a flurry of leaves and sand. He suddenly reappeared on top of the wall.
Mizuno then began precise strikes at the back of both of the clones, shoulders, then the middle of the spine, then the middle of the neck. He did all of these strikes with his index finger of his left hand. The clone burst into smoke and Mizuno dissappeared once again. He landed in front of the wall, looking at it from bottom to top.
"I'll tell you what kid, if this is the best wall you can maken, then I am ashamed" he laughed.
With the flick of his wrist the wall tumbled down, crumbling behind him. Mizuno then looked around the area, spotting two cats. A demonic smile spread across his face as he looked from cat to cat.
"I don't know which cat is which, so i'll attack you both".
Mizuno made more than eight handsings, performing them in five seconds. When he was done his right hand glowed with an ominous blach chakara which turned to black lightning. He thrusted his arm out and a bolt of black lightning soared across an hit one of the cats. The cat was shocked, then it looked at Mizuno. The cat was in perfect condition, like nothing had happened. Mizuno then returned to the other cat, firing a bolt of black lightning at that one. The first cat was safe merely because Black Lightning was a technique that she developed, so it had no effect on her. |

What the hell? black lightning?! Youtsuki quickly dodged the attack and returned back into his human form. He already knew with cheap tricks like that he woudln't be able to catch someone of his level that easily. When the man shot that lightning bolt at him, Youtsuki took that as a sign for a battle and so with hesistation he used his Borudou technique. Both of his hands began to emitt lightning all you could see was a yellow aura of electricity around Youtsuki's hands. He finally had the man on the ground as he wished and so with waisting anymore time, Youtsuki began quick stepping left and right until he finally ended up getting face to face. Youtsuki quickly thrusted his right palm foward attempting to slam it against his chest and shock him and if it were to blocked Youtsuki followed up with a leg sweep. ------------------------------------------------------ • Borudou (Bolt Shock ) Type: Ninjutsu Description: An advanced form of Raiton that uses chakra to increase the amount of bio-electricity in the brain and sends the excess down to the hands in order to form advanced Raiton techniques and or Taijutsu techniques • Quick Step Type: Taijutsu Description: Uses chakra to decrease weight for a split second in order to move at a speed that is a second off from teleportation. Too much use of this technique puts a strain on the user's body |

Mizuno smirked, his face full of happiness. He was a pacifist but that never stopped him from training or play fighting, the life or death fights were the fights he tried to avoid. He had obviously struck a cord with the boy seeing as how he got him to use a serious jutsu, and it was lightning. Mizuno didn't even try to block the attack, he took the full force of the electrical hand.
He tuned his face to the side because of the "slap". Why had Mizuno given up? Why did h just let the boy win? Why? Mizuno turned back to the boy, not even a scratch on his face.
"I redirected wind style chakara to my cheek, lessening the force of the blow. It's very simple and it's a little trick that I'm going to show you, anyways...you win. You are my new apprentice as far as I am concerned, but to truly become my apprentice you must swear something. You will never be the first to attack. You will never kill. You will never fight unless it is a life or death situation, and you must put all of your trust into me".
Mizuno smiled down at the boy, the question that arose was why did he let the boy win? Why did he just take the attack instead of dodging it, he had more than enough speed to dodge it. The reason was because the boy was just like Mizuno when he as a genin.
"He really is like you".
"I know".
"He has the lightning elment".
"I know".
"And he is as quick as you were".
"Even quicker, I could never move that fas with th bandages". |
