"I pinch myself sometimes to make sure I'm not in a dream,
That's how it seems,
I close my eyes and breathe in the sweetest moments I've ever known,
It feels like home,,
And here I am I want to be your everything
There you are,
Turning winter into spring."
Date.
It was a word that people used to describe a social outing with two people. A word that made girl's hearts flutter. And something that she was on right now. Well technically, she was still heading to the meeting place. The place where she would meet her date, Masuyo. Though they'd both admitted that they loved the other, they were still dating. And there was nothing wrong with that, she didn't want it to move too fast. Still, she was nervous. Any girl is always nervous when they go out on a date, married, in love or not.
It was usually the boy who made the girl nervous.
And it was holding true for Kijo. The butterflies danced in her stomach as she walked down the street, her heart pounding faster and faster. Part of her wanted to break into a run, another part of her wanted to make an elegant appearance. So, she'd settled for a quick paced walk. She was drawing looks from the villagers, mostly men, but she didn't care. They were like blank faces compared to the one she was searching for.
"And everyone who sees you,
Always want's to know you,
And everyone who knows you,
Always have a smile,
You're standing ovation after years of waiting,
For a chance to finally shine,
Everyone calls you amazing,
Yeah,
I just call you mine."
Her low rider jeans clung, almost fearfully to her waist as she peered through the crowd.
A slightly distressed look crossed her features, midnight eyes darting around. Black boots dodged out of others way as she threaded her way through the mass of people. She was half tempted to flash everyone, and see if that made them get out of her way. She didn't, though she was getting quite frustrated. Her black, spaghetti strap, tank top didn't cover her stomach, and she placed her hands on that exposed bit of skin, coming to a stand still.
She let out a frustrated sigh.
All these people were keeping her from her date! She glared at everyone who complained about her non moving body, as she searched for him. With his orange hair, he should have been easy to spot. She stood on the tips of her toes, and peered over peoples heads. There! As soon as she'd spotted him, a smile broke out over her lips. She returned to her normal height and shoved her way through the crowd. She approached him from behind, launching herself onto his back, a giggle escaping her mouth, which was right next to his ear by now.
